Join Business Management Consulting secures strategic growth investment from Oakley Capital
Deal News | Jun 11, 2025 | Finance Community IT - 3 Private Equity

Oakley Capital, a European private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake in Join Business Management Consulting (JBMC), an Italian boutique consultancy focused on the financial services sector. With this investment through Oakley Capital Origin II fund, Oakley aims to leverage JBMC's established prowess in delivering strategic, managerial, and technological consultancy to major banking, insurance, and payment entities in Italy. Founded in 2013, JBMC has consistently achieved solid organic growth, driven by its expertise in complex project management and a distinctive entrepreneurial DNA. As the consulting and IT services market in Italy, valued at around €5 billion, undergoes rapid digital transformation, JBMC emerges as a key player, helping financial institutions transition away from legacy systems. Advisors in this transaction for JBMC were Mediobanca as financial advisor, PedersoliGattai as legal counsel, and Studio Santagostino for accounting and tax matters. For Oakley, Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici handled corporate and tax matters, Chiomenti provided legal counsel on financing, PwC advised on accounting and tax issues, and BCG led the commercial due diligence. Peter Dubens, co-founder and managing partner at Oakley, praised JBMC CEO Giovanni Brandani for his visionary leadership in fostering growth. Giovanni Brandani expressed eagerness to partner with Oakley, citing their technological and M&A expertise.
