The Canfields acquired the rights to Jennings brand, including trademarks and recipes, under a rescue package with Carlsberg Britvic for an undisclosed amount. Although bottled beer under the Jennings brand will be sold by Carlsberg Britvic until March 2025, plans are set to transfer production to the restored Jennings Brewery Ltd. The duo aims to create new jobs and elevate the brewery while preserving its historical value. Kurt Canfield, also CEO of engineering firm Delkia, and Rebecca Canfield, who is connected with drinks company Wine and the Wood, are committed to bringing Jennings back under local, family-owned operations, leveraging its unique local water for authentic brewing.
