JCP Solicitors Expands with Acquisition of Howe & Spender

Swansea-based law firm JCP Solicitors is expanding its operations with the acquisition of Howe & Spender Solicitors, a firm based in Port Talbot. The acquisition aligns with JCP's growth strategy, adding to its existing presence in multiple Welsh locations. As part of the merger, Ian Spender, managing partner of Howe & Spender, will join JCP as a director in the lifetime planning team, signaling continuity and an opportunity for combined expertise. This merger aims to enhance both commercial and private services while maintaining existing practices of Howe & Spender. JCP foresees an increment in its annual revenues from £11m to £13m by the 2025/26 financial year.
