Jang Hyuk Yeo Joins DLA Piper Boosting Cross-Border Capabilities in Korea

DLA Piper has announced the strategic hire of Jang Hyuk Yeo, a former partner at Greenberg Traurig, to strengthen its corporate practice in Seoul. Yeo's expertise lies in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets, foreign investments, and private equity transactions. With a strong focus on facilitating U.S.-Korea cross-border transactions, Yeo will bring considerable experience in guiding Korean companies through global investments and fundraising efforts, particularly in the United States. His client portfolio includes notable Korean corporations such as LG, Kakaopay, and Lotte, as well as emerging businesses like SemiFive and Daesung Group. Additionally, Yeo has worked on private equity investments for prominent firms such as Carlyle Group and the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Yeo held positions at Lee & Ko, where he was a partner, and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton as an associate.
