ISS Sustainability Solutions Expands with Sust Global Acquisition

ISS Sustainability Solutions, the sustainable investment arm of ISS STOXX, has acquired Sust Global to augment its geospatial risk modeling and analytics capabilities. Established in 2020, Sust Global developed a proprietary geospatial AI engine that identifies trends and patterns across regional datasets. Their platform offers various solutions, including visual analytics tools, regulatory reporting, and custom-built solutions, aimed at assessing asset-level risks related to climate and environmental factors. This acquisition addresses the growing need for geospatial data in physical risk analytics among institutional investors. The integration of Sust Global will enhance ISS Sustainability Solutions' offerings by utilizing Sust Global's AI-driven physical risk models with ISS's proprietary asset-level data, effectively mapping them to corporate and investment portfolios for institutional clients.
