Accenture has acquired IQT Group, an Italian engineering and consulting firm specializing in large infrastructure projects, marking its third acquisition in Italy this year. The deal, which will see over 450 IQT consultants and engineers join Accenture's Industry X practice, aims to bolster Accenture's capabilities in helping public and private sectors transition towards net-zero infrastructure in utilities, energy, and telecommunications. Earlier this year, Accenture also acquired Fibermind and Intellera Consulting as part of its strategic expansion in Italy and globally purchased Anser Advisory, Comtech, and Boslan.
