Investcorp to Expand Port of Duqm with $550 Million Investment

Bahrain-based Investcorp has announced a significant investment of $550 million to expand the infrastructure of Oman's Port of Duqm. This strategic investment will be conducted through Investcorp Aberdeen Infrastructure Partners (AIIP), a joint venture with Aberdeen Group. AIIP will be joined by several stakeholders, including the Port of Duqm Company, Belgium's DEME Group, and the Port of Antwerp Bruges, under the consortium Cap Infra. This development marks AIIP's fourth infrastructural commitment, following previous projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
