InvenireX Secures £570,000 Grant from Future Leaders Fellowship

In April 2024, a client introduced Claritas Tax Advisory to the Newcastle upon Tyne-based startup InvenireX, which is poised to revolutionize DNA and RNA detection with its novel, digital technology. By using DNA that fluoresces upon binding with targeted sequences, InvenireX offers a more efficient, sensitive, and precise method of quantification at the same cost as existing technologies. Following prototype development and initial private investment, Claritas identified Innovate UK's Future Leaders Fellowships as a suitable funding source to further InvenireX's ambitions. Claritas provided comprehensive support, including crafting an exhaustive application, preparing a project work plan, and conducting mock interviews, resulting in securing £570,000 in grant funding. The funding will sustain team salaries, premises, and equipment over the next four years as InvenireX progresses from concept to product. This case further signified the unique focus of the Future Leaders Fellowship on individuals in contrast to companies, underscoring its aim to nurture promising leaders within the UK innovation landscape.
