Innovo Renewables Acquires PH Consulting Engineering, Expands into Germany

Innovo Renewables, an Italian company engaged in developing renewable energy projects across Italy, the UK, and Spain, has acquired 100% of the shares in PH Consulting Engineering, an engineering firm with offices in Rome and Munich, specializing in energy consultancy for photovoltaic projects and battery energy storage systems (BESS). As a result of the acquisition, the company will operate under the name Innovo PH Engineering Services. The in-house team at Innovo Renewables managed the legal, M&A, and labor aspects of the transaction, with PwC providing financial, legal, and tax due diligence. The acquisition marks a strategic step for Innovo Renewables as it enters the German market, opens new offices, and expands its footprint in high-potential sectors within the renewable energy value chain. PH Consulting Engineering, founded less than three years ago, has quickly established itself in the industry, achieving a turnover of 2 million euros in 2024, more than double the previous year. The founders will remain involved in managing the company's activities, with Massimiliano Pili joining the board and Rodolfo Bigolin assuming the roles of president and CEO.
