Ingka Investments and Oxan Energy Invest in Italian Offshore Wind Facilities

Ingka Investments, the investment arm of the Ikea group, alongside Oxan Energy, a French developer of offshore wind energy facilities, have embarked on a joint venture named NexVenti to develop two floating offshore wind power projects in Italy. These projects, titled Sicily South and Sardinia Northwest, are in collaboration with the Italian partner Avapa Energy. Originating from AvenHexicon, a joint venture between Avapa Energy and the Swedish company Hexicon AB, these wind farms will be situated in the western Sardinian sea and the Sicilian Channel.
