Musumeci Altara Desana e Associati has successfully assisted Col Giovanni Paolo, a company controlled by the U.S. private equity firm Oaktree, in the acquisition of 100% of Ime (Industrie Meccaniche Elettriche), a firm that specializes in electrical panels and products for low and medium voltage systems, as well as the construction and maintenance of electrical installations for civil and industrial uses. The legal support provided by Musumeci Altara Desana e Associati comprised a significant effort with partners Stefano Altara and Marco Lazzarin, along with senior associate Carlotta Pastore handling corporate matters, Roberto Castelli focusing on labor law issues, and Elodie Musumeci dealing with antitrust facets. EY Studio Legale Tributario conducted the tax due diligence, showcasing a robust team led by partner Savino Tat.
