Hyva divests crane business to Mutares

Hyva, a provider of transport solutions for commercial vehicles, along with its parent company JOST Werke SE, has sold its global cranes business to private equity investor Mutares. White & Case LLP, a global law firm, advised Hyva on the divestment which aligns with JOST's strategy to focus on Hyva's core portfolio. Hyva's cranes division is involved in designing, manufacturing, and servicing truck-mounted cranes, generating an annual revenue of approximately 100 million euros. The business has operations across Italy, Brazil, and China, with a network of sales and distribution globally. The divestment is slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025, contingent upon the execution of the legal carve-out in various jurisdictions and standard closing conditions. The transaction advisory was led by partners from White & Case across different global locations.
