Hezardastan Empowers Divar with Cafe Bazaar Sale

Deal News | Jan 24, 2025 | Aim Group

Hezardastan Group, a tech company based in Iran, has sold its subsidiary app store Cafe Bazaar to Tapsell, an advertising agency. The sale is part of Hezardastan's strategy to focus on strengthening Divar, its leading e-commerce platform. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. The full ownership was transferred to Tapsell in a cash-based acquisition. This move aligns with Hezardastan's long-term vision for optimal resource allocation and positions Divar to become a leading platform in e-commerce. Although Pomegranate Investment holds a minority stake in Cafe Bazaar, it confirmed the acquisition does not impact its ownership, as there are no shared stocks between Cafe Bazaar and Divar. Hezardastan remains the parent company of both Divar and Cafe Bazaar until the latter's transfer of ownership. The company plans to announce further details about the sale shortly.
