Hercules Acquires Advantage NRG to Boost Infrastructure Capabilities

Hill Dickinson has advised Hercules plc, a prominent UK-based technology-enabled labour supply company, in its acquisition of Advantage NRG, a Chorley-based firm specializing in skilled labor for the power and energy sector. This strategic acquisition allows Hercules to expand its presence in the energy sector, aligning with the National Grid's ongoing £5.8 billion upgrade of the UK's electricity infrastructure. The acquisition involves Hercules acquiring 100% of Advantage NRG's share capital for approximately £15.7 million in cash. Notably, this is the fourth M&A transaction Hill Dickinson has advised Hercules on since its IPO in 2022, reinforcing its buy-and-build strategy. The acquisition positions Hercules as a key player in supporting the National Grid's infrastructure enhancements.
