Hays Travel Expands with Spear Travels Acquisition

Hays Travel, the Sunderland-based national holiday firm, has announced its acquisition of the Spear Travels Group, a move that aligns with the company's broader expansion strategy. The acquisition includes Spear Travels' 12 UK store locations and its homeworker network. Notably, there will be no job losses as a result of the takeover, allowing business operations at locations such as Skipton, Stoke-on-Trent, and Upminster to proceed without disruption under the Spear Travels brand.
