The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has granted a EUR 10 million loan to UniCredit Bank Serbia as part of the Go Digital Western Balkans Program. Advised by the law firm Harrisons, the loan aims to provide specialized financing focusing on automation, digitalization, competitiveness, and green technologies for eligible small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The investment mandates that at least 60% of the funds are dedicated to automation and digitalization projects, with a further 60% of those projects required to qualify as green-economy-transition eligible.
