Hanza Acquires Leden Group to Expand Manufacturing Capabilities

Hanza, a manufacturing solutions provider founded in 2008, has acquired the Leden Group, a Finnish advanced mechanics manufacturer. The Leden Group is recognized for its capabilities in sheet metal production, machining, complex assemblies, and steel profile production. Its operations are spread across four sites in Finland and one in Estonia. The acquisition aligns with Hanza’s strategy of expanding its manufacturing capabilities and customer base, which includes industries such as power management, medical technology, IT infrastructure, and industrial automation. The transaction was facilitated by Cobalt, with its Estonian team comprising Partners Martin Simovart, Jesse Kivisaari, and Senior Associate Getter Villmann-Nogene. The counsel of the counterparty to the acquisition was not disclosed at the time of publication.
