Hans Sahlin Steps Up as CEO of Speed Group

Ratos has appointed Hans Sahlin as the new Chief Executive Officer of Speed Group, a leading logistics and staffing company in the Nordics. Hans Sahlin, who previously served as Deputy CEO, succeeded Jesper Andersson, one of Speed Group's founders and CEO since 2022, on January 8, 2025. Jesper Andersson will remain with the company in an advisory role. Sahlin brings a robust background in leadership and business development from logistics and property companies. His focus in the new role will be on growth, innovation, and sustainability, as Speed Group has recently secured a mulit-billion dollar deal with Ericsson and achieved carbon neutrality two years ahead of its target. Speed Group, headquartered in Borås, Sweden, operates several logistics centers across the country and employs a workforce of about 1,000 people. Under Ratos, Speed is part of a business group with significant technological and infrastructure holdings. The company has achieved sales of approximately SEK 1 billion. The transition of leadership marks a new chapter for Speed as it continues its expansion and innovation in the logistics and staffing industry.
