Groupe Isagri Strengthens Portugal Presence with Filosoft Acquisition

Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falco has provided legal advisory services to Groupe Isagri, a French investment powerhouse in agriculture technology, during its acquisition of 100% shares of Filosoft. Filosoft is noted for its specialized billing, accounting, tax, and payroll software targeted at accounting firms and businesses. This strategic acquisition was executed via Groupe Isagri's Portuguese subsidiary, CentralGest. The legal advisory covered all stages of the acquisition, including documentation preparation, negotiation, and due diligence. Groupe Isagri, with global revenue of €340 million and over 3,000 employees across 13 countries, seeks to solidify CentralGest's dominance in the Portuguese market, particularly in SaaS and full-web solutions, aiming for a 50% market share in accounting firm services within four years. The transaction was spearheaded by Cerejeira Namora's partner Pedro da Costa Mendes with assistance from Joo Gutierres and others.
