Green Arrow: Successful Fundraising for Private Debt Fund II

Green Arrow Capital, an independent Italian firm focusing on alternative and sustainable investments, has successfully concluded the fundraising for its Green Arrow Private Debt Fund II, securing €137 million. This marks the firm's second direct lending fund, aimed at supporting Italian SMEs and the real economy. The fund, qualified under Article 8 SFDR and PIR Alternative Compliant, has surpassed the collection of its predecessor and has already invested over half of its capital across 10 projects with two add-ons supporting a buy-and-build strategy for its portfolio companies. The investment team, led by Marco Meda, Davide Moscatelli, and Umberto Pezzali, is currently evaluating further investments to deploy the majority of the resources by 2025, alongside a plan to launch a third debt fund. The current fund offers variable rate loans with possible equity elements, providing inflation protection and superior returns compared to other debt classes. It aims to boost Italian companies in revenue and employment, in collaboration with entrepreneurs and private equity operators. Claudio Ansuinelli, head of Sales, highlighted the fundraising's success despite a challenging market environment, noting the participation of major institutional investors. This achievement strengthens Green Arrow Capital's position in the asset class, with plans to launch a third direct lending product by 2025.
