In a significant healthcare M&A transaction, Greater Boston Long Term Care Pharmacy, a provider of pharmacy services to community-based group homes and assisted living facilities in Massachusetts, has been acquired by Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy. Tarrytown Expocare, a leader in Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and Behavioral Health long-term care pharmacy services with a presence in 31 states, finalized the acquisition in Q4 2024. The sale was facilitated by M&A Healthcare Advisors (MAHA), a boutique investment bank that specializes in healthcare transactions, marking their first deal as registered agents of a broker-dealer. MAHA played a crucial role in navigating the regulatory complexities of the deal and fostering strong collaboration between the leadership teams of the two organizations.
