Get Well Soon secures £400k funding to expand patient access to surgeons

Get Well Soon, a healthcare startup aimed at improving patient access to private medical specialists and elective surgeries, has raised an additional £400,000 in investment. The funding comes from the West Midlands Equity Co-Investment Fund, led by Midven, part of Future Planet Capital, and backed by the Midlands Engine Investment Fund. This investment will drive the expansion of Get Well Soon’s platform, which offers a unique, transparent, and efficient booking service for self-pay patients. It addresses the inefficiencies and prolonged waiting periods prevalent in the traditional healthcare system. The company plans to enhance its platform and increase its roster of healthcare professionals which already includes 50 surgeons across various specialities like orthopaedics and urology. CEO Simon Radley emphasizes that the investment will further their mission to provide patients with greater choice and improved healthcare accessibility.
