Geosolar Kamenyak Advances with Licensing for 75MW Photovoltaic Project

CMS has successfully advised Geosolar Kamenyak on acquiring the necessary licensing for its significant 75-megawatt photovoltaic (PV) project, the Kamenyak project. This licensing was finalized early in April 2025 by the Bulgarian Energy and Water Regulatory Commission. The Kamenyak project, located in the Shumen Municipality, has seen considerable progress in its construction phase. Scheduled for its first stage of completion by June 2025 and the second by September 2025, the project's completion will mark a significant milestone in Bulgaria's renewable energy landscape. CMS' advisory team for this project was led by Managing Partner Kostadin Sirleshtov and included several other experts in the legal field.
