Generali Completes Divestment of Turkish Operations

Generali, advised by legal firm Baker McKenzie, has completed the sale of its operations in Turkey by divesting 99.99% of its shares in Generali Sigorta Anonim Sirketi. The acquiring entities include Kiler Holding, Ekol Giriim Sermayesi Yatırım Ortakli, Arex Yatırım Holding, and Arex Sigorta. Baker McKenzie's team was led by Giorgio Telarico, supported by Esin Attorney Partnership and Generali's in-house counsel led by Valentina Sarrocco and Silvia Angeli. PwC served as the sole M&A advisor, providing due diligence assistance with teams from both Italy and Turkey.
