Forterro Expands Portfolio with Orgadata Acquisition

Forterro, an industrial software company backed by Battery Ventures, has announced the acquisition of Orgadata, a German software provider for the window, door, and facade industry. This strategic move enhances Forterro's portfolio by integrating Orgadata's Logikal software, which streamlines the design, calculation, and production of architectural elements, creating a new division dedicated to windows and doors. The acquisition is expected to enable Forterro to penetrate a new industry within its existing customer base and advance digitalization in manufacturing, according to Marcus Pannier, Regional President at Forterro. Although the necessary regulatory approvals are in process, the completion of the deal is projected for the first quarter of 2025. Until the deal's closure, Forterro and Orgadata will continue to operate independently.
