Fondo Italiano Completes Another Closing at €113M

Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR has successfully completed an additional closing of its private equity co-investment fund, FIPEC, amounting to a total of €113 million. The fund is focused on supporting the growth of Italian SMEs in co-investment with major national and international private equity operators. It has already committed around 25% of its capital and, within a year of its first closing, has invested in four companies: Errevi System alongside KYIP Capital, The Nice Kitchen with 21Invest, Eurosirel with Arca Space Capital and Alto Partners, and CRM with Wise Equity. Marco Lucchini, a senior partner at Fondo Italiano d’Investimento, emphasized the significant interest in this initiative, its innovative strategy for the Italian market, and the advantages brought by synergies with the fund-of-funds activities of Fondo Italiano. The fund operates with the support of cornerstone investor Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) as sponsor, alongside other institutional investors and family offices, promoting new synergies and partnerships within its network.
