Focus Estate Fund Acquires Three Shopping Centers in Silesia

Czabaaski & Galuszynski (C&G) has successfully represented Focus Estate Fund in its acquisition of three shopping centers within Poland’s Silesia region. The acquired properties, including the Sosnowiec Plaza, Ruda Slaska Plaza, and Rybnik Plaza, boast a combined leasable area of approximately 46,000 square meters and are located in significant urban centers of the Upper Silesian agglomeration. Additionally, C&G advised the Fund on securing financing for this transaction with BNP Paribas. The same legal advisory team from C&G also supported Focus Estate Fund in a similar financing deal for the acquisition of Galeria Sandecja earlier in 2024. The legal team included Partner Piotr Galuszynski, Of Counsel Urszula Rachwol, Senior Associate Maja Batra, and Junior Associate Iga Karasinska. Despite attempts to obtain comments, C&G has not responded to inquiries regarding the transaction.
