FloWorks International LLC, a specialty distributor of critical flow control products and a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, has announced the acquisition of CAC Industrial Equipment Ltd. CAC, based in Victoria, British Columbia, provides pumps and parts distribution along with repair services to various industrial markets. The acquisition will enable FloWorks to strengthen its pumping solutions and expand its operations in Canada. Scott Jackson, CEO of FloWorks, praised CAC's business, while CAC's President Laurie Cavaggion expressed enthusiasm for joining FloWorks. This marks the fifth acquisition for FloWorks under the ownership of Wynnchurch. The transaction was advised legally by Foley & Lardner LLP. Wynnchurch Capital, headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, focuses on partnering with middle-market firms in the US and Canada and has recently acquired several companies, including Astro Shapes and Principal Industries.
