Flexera Completes Strategic Acquisition of NetApp's Spot FinOps Portfolio

Flexera, a Thoma Bravo portfolio company and leader in technology spend and risk management, has completed the acquisition of the Spot business unit from NetApp. This acquisition enhances Flexera's FinOps portfolio, broadening its cloud financial management capabilities. Through the integration of Spot’s AI-powered FinOps technologies, Flexera aims to address the growing complexities and costs associated with cloud computing, especially intensified by the rise in AI-driven cloud usage. Spot’s suite of tools, such as Spot Eco for cloud commitment management, Spot Ocean for Kubernetes infrastructure optimization, and Spot Elastigroup for optimizing cloud investments, will now be part of Flexera’s offerings.
