The deal is strategically poised to leverage Deutsche Fiskal's expertise in German fiscalisation, combining it with fiskaly's innovative technological capabilities to offer improved and innovative cloud solutions. The acquisition is set against Verdane’s partnership with fiskaly that started in June 2024. Verdane, a European PE firm specializing in growth capital, has been instrumental in aiding fiskaly's aspirations to expand its footprint in Germany and other European territories like Spain and Austria. Under fiskaly's ownership, DF Deutsche Fiskal will maintain its current service offerings, ensuring continuity for its existing clientele. The acquisition is poised to close by March 31, 2025. Notably, all Deutsche Fiskal employees will retain their positions, while its managing directors will step back to advisory roles. The acquisition complements fiskaly’s European growth trajectory, providing fiscal compliance solutions to over 600,000 points of sale across Europe and drawing support from a diverse clientele, including prominent retail chains and POS system providers.
