Fininvest Sells Monza to Beckett Layne Ventures

Fininvest, the holding company of the Berlusconi family, has reached an agreement to sell 100% of Monza Football Club to Beckett Layne Ventures, a U.S. private equity firm. The transaction values the club at €45 million. The deal involves an initial 80% stake transfer by summer while the remaining 20% will be transferred by June 2026. Fininvest will retain a board presence until then. Fininvest, which invested €285 million in Monza since 2018, will receive €30 million, representing the club's enterprise value net of debts. Rumors had long circulated about Fininvest divesting from Monza. Adriano Galliani will remain with Monza as president. Beckett Layne Ventures, led by Brandon Berger, focuses on the sports, media, and entertainment sectors, with particular expertise in European football.
