Finalrentals Funding Success: Tops £1 Million After Triple Revenue Growth

Car rental technology company Finalrentals has reached a milestone in its venture funding journey by closing a significant Pre-Series A funding round. The Cardiff-based company’s total funding now exceeds £1 million, a feat achieved following an initial investment round in 2022. This latest funding round included contributions from E100 London Business School Angel Syndicate, key angel investors from London and the United States, in addition to existing investors who increased their stakes. Finalrentals witnessed a remarkable growth of 300% in revenue year-over-year, expanding into over 30 international markets and partnering with more than 500 car rental providers globally. The newly acquired funds will bolster efforts to exceed $1.5 million in annual net revenue and grow the global team by 40%. Finalrentals, under the leadership of founder and CEO Ammar Akhtar, intends to utilize the investment to further enhance AI-driven automation, accelerate product development and strengthen its presence in Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
