Federated Hermes, a notable global player in responsible investment management, has successfully completed a GP-led secondary transaction in its Federated Hermes Diversified Infrastructure Fund (FHDIF). This fund, which began in 2023, contains a diversified portfolio of core/core+ infrastructure investments primarily across the UK and Europe. These investments are designed to offer attractive yields, backed by long-term contracts, regulated revenues, and mechanisms for inflation protection. Originating with seven initial investments, FHDIF provides institutional investors with substantial infrastructure exposure, achieving both defensiveness and attractive returns. The latest endeavor included a liquidity process facilitated by Campbell Lutyens and culminated in October 2024 when a leading global infrastructure investor purchased a 20% stake.
