Faume Raises $9M for European Expansion, Welcomes Victoria Beckham

Faume, a France-based platform specializing in resale channels for premium and luxury fashion brands, has successfully secured an 8 million EUR ($9.1 million USD) funding round. This capital infusion is intended to bolster its growth trajectory in Europe, specifically targeting expansions in the U.K. and Italy, while also enhancing its sales and technology capabilities. Faume's white-label solution facilitates the rapid activation of branded resale channels for clients, already including notable brands such as Sandro, Lacoste, and AMI. A significant development in their expansion is a new partnership with the Victoria Beckham fashion house in the U.K. The investment is spearheaded by Amundi Private Equity Transition Juste, with participation from Daphni and BPIFrance's Digital Venture fund. Since its inception in July 2020, Faume has enabled the resale of over 300,000 second-hand premium items, with a substantial segment sold outside its home market in France. In pursuit of its ambitious goals, the company aims to partner with 150 brands within the next four years and launch an advanced Dynamic Pricing AI by 2025. This AI is envisioned to enhance competitive pricing dynamics for partner brands. The CEO, Aymeric Dchin, highlights that the fundraising is only a part of the journey and affirms that resale is a key driver for sustainable brand growth.
