Activum SG Capital Management, a leading European real estate investment manager, has announced the acquisition of Fairmont La Hacienda, a luxury resort located in Spain's Costa del Sol, for €175 million. The transaction, executed through ActivumSG Fund VII, marks a strategic addition to the firm's hospitality portfolio. The resort encompasses 311 keys, including hotel rooms, villas, and branded residences, alongside amenities such as a spa, several swimming pools, restaurants, conference facilities, and golf courses. This acquisition aligns with ActivumSG's thematic focus on the luxury hospitality and accommodation sector in Spain, a market bolstered by strong fundamentals and increasing tourism demand. The resort, inspired by Andalusian architecture, also prioritizes sustainability, aiming for LEED Gold certification for its residential units.
