Exosens Enters Exclusive Negotiations to Acquire Noxant

Exosens, a high-tech company specializing in mission-critical amplification, detection, and imaging technology, has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire Noxant, a French company known for its expertise in high-performance cooled infrared cameras. This strategic acquisition aligns with Exosens’ growth agenda and is expected to enhance its platform by incorporating advanced infrared camera cores designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). This collaboration, particularly in the Midwave Infrared (MWIR) sector, promises significant synergies with Exosens’ existing imaging business, including past acquisitions like Telops. Exosens aims to broaden its technological reach by integrating Noxant’s cooled infrared solutions, meeting the increasing demand across surveillance, industrial testing, and gas detection sectors. The transaction symbolizes a convergence of mutual commitment between Exosens, recognized for extensive experience in electro-optical technologies, and Noxant, which generated approximately EUR 12 million in revenue in its last fiscal year. Exosens has a history of successful acquisitions, evident by its recent purchase of Centronic, LR Tech, and NVLS, complementing their overall strategic footprint in Europe and North America. Laurent Dague, Chairman of Noxant, emphasizes the synergy, noting that the partnership allows continued delivery of advanced technology under the expansive resource umbrella of Exosens. The deal awaits customary clearances and is anticipated to finalize soon.
