EvolvOptic Expands Operations in Monroe County

Empire State Development (ESD) announced the merger of Advanced Glass Industries (AGI) and Glass Fab Inc., forming the new optics company, EvolvOptic. Based in Rochester, New York, EvolvOptic plans a $5 million investment to enhance its capabilities in the space, semiconductor, and high-energy sectors, aiming to create up to 40 jobs over the next five years. Supported by a $600,000 performance-based tax credit from ESD, this initiative aligns with the Finger Lakes region’s strategy to boost local economies and reinforce New York's position as a hub for the semiconductor industry.
