Everfield Enters Denmark with OnlinePOS Acquisition

Everfield, a renowned European software investor, has successfully acquired OnlinePOS, a leading provider of point-of-sale (POS) solutions in Denmark. This acquisition not only marks Everfield's 30th acquisition but also represents its first foray into the Danish market and a significant advancement in the company's strategic Nordic expansion. OnlinePOS, established in 2008, is known for its modular POS platform catering to the hospitality and events sector, offering advanced features including QR self-service ordering and payment management. The acquisition will see OnlinePOS remain under the leadership of its current CEO Lasse Peters and co-leader Karsten Knudsen, alongside their 70-strong team. The move significantly enhances Everfield's presence in the food and hospitality software sector, strengthening its ecosystem which already includes businesses like Digifood and MatrixPOS. Everfield's acquisition strategy aims to build on shared values, operational excellence, and respect for existing teams within acquired companies.
