Evelyn Partners Shifts Focus with £50bn Divestment

Evelyn Partners Group has completed the divestment of its fund solutions business, operated by Evelyn Partners Fund Solutions Limited (EPFL), to Thesis Holdings. This strategic move pivots Evelyn Partners towards focusing solely on its wealth management activities. The sale follows the completion of another divestment of its professional services business earlier in the year. As a result of this transaction, Thesis Holdings, an independent fund governance and administration firm, will manage 330 funds with over £50bn in assets. Additionally, 75 staff members from EPFL, primarily based in Glasgow, will transition to Thesis. Evelyn Partners’ Chief Executive, Paul Geddes, expressed gratitude to the EPFL team for their dedication and professionalism, and looked forward to maintaining a collaborative relationship with them as they continue to provide fund administration and governance services. Neil Coxhead, CEO of EPFL, highlighted the long-term clarity and growth opportunities this acquisition offers while continuing collaboration with Evelyn Partners. David Tyerman, CEO of Thesis, welcomed the EPFL team and noted the cultural alignment and enhanced options this addition brings to their operations.
