Eurovetrocap Joins Forces with Investindustrial in Major Acquisition

Investindustrial has acquired a majority stake in Eurovetrocap, a company specializing in cosmetic packaging. Founded in 1983 and based in Trezzano sul Naviglio, Italy, Eurovetrocap produces both glass and plastic packaging materials for the cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors. The acquisition will add significant value to Investindustrial's portfolio, which already includes Virospack, by making them one of the main players in the European cosmetic packaging industry. Eurovetrocap will continue to operate under its current leadership, maintaining its strategic approach toward emerging brands and independent operators. The deal was supported by financial and legal advisors including Mediobanca and Chiomenti. This strategic acquisition will create opportunities for cross-selling and strengthen the firm's product innovation capabilities, according to Andrea Bonomi, Chairman of Investindustrial’s advisory board.
