European Flyers Announces Strategic Merger with Aerotec

European Flyers has announced a strategic merger with Aerotec Escuela de Pilotos, marking a significant advancement in its growth and consolidation strategy within Spain's aviation sector. The merger, which was formalized on April 7 in Madrid, will create one of the largest pilot training centers in Spain, equipped with a combined fleet of 50 aircraft and 14 simulators, and staffed by approximately 200 professionals. The Russell Bedford Spain office, specifically its Financial Advisory team, played a crucial role in facilitating this merger by conducting a comprehensive due diligence process covering financial, tax, labor, and legal aspects of Aerotec. Once approved by regulatory authorities, the newly formed entity will operate across multiple locations including Madrid, Alicante, Toledo, and Seville, focusing on training for airplanes, helicopters, and drones. Both Javier Concejo from Russell Bedford and Luis Miano Gmez, General Manager of European Flyers, highlighted the merger's significance in enhancing the competitive stance of their organization both nationally and internationally.
