Ernst: Elis Strengthens German Network with Acquisition

Elis, a global leader in circular services, has announced the acquisition of 100% of Wäscherei Ernst GmbH in Germany. Ernst, operating two laundries in Erbach, Baden-Württemberg, serves the southern region of Germany and northwestern Austria, with a particular focus on flat linen rental and laundry services for the hospitality and healthcare sectors. With a workforce of 120 employees, Ernst generated a revenue of approximately €17 million in 2023. The current management team will remain in place to drive further growth. This acquisition will be consolidated into Elis's financials from January 1, 2025. The acquisition supports Elis's strategy of consolidating its network and strengthening its position in the dynamic hospitality sector in Germany. Elis's innovative circular service model, supported by tracking technologies, contributes to sustainable value creation for shareholders, clients, staff, and the environment.
