Eric Hochstadt

Eric Hochstadt has joined Orrick as the head of its global Antitrust Litigation practice and a member of the Management Committee. Previously at Weil Gotshal, Eric is known for his expertise in high-stakes antitrust disputes across various sectors such as life sciences, tech, financial services, fintech, and energy. His practice includes civil antitrust, class action, and other complex litigations, civil merger, and non-merger conduct investigations, as well as criminal cartel investigations and antitrust counseling with a global reach. He has litigated in different courts across the USA and achieved significant victories in antitrust class action jury trials and complex commercial arbitrations. Eric's addition marks the 22nd enhancement to Orrick's litigation platform in the past three years, following Orrick's strategic recruiting priorities. Orrick leadership praises his skills as a litigator and leader and looks forward to expanding their antitrust team. Eric also holds leadership roles in the legal community, such as the Executive Committee of the Antitrust Section of the New York State Bar Association.
