EQUITA Capital SGR, an Italian multi-strategy manager active in the alternative asset market, has signed a binding agreement through its EQUITA Green Impact Fund (EGIF) to acquire 75% of a solar photovoltaic portfolio from Dominion. This portfolio, located in Sicily and Basilicata, comprises four ready-to-build projects with an installed capacity totaling approximately 74MW. This agreement marks the commencement of EGIF's investment phase following its successful second fundraising round completed in December 2024, which increased the fund's size to €140 million. EGIF Managing Partner Balthazar Cazac expressed enthusiasm for this strategic entry into green infrastructure aimed at advancing energy transition and decarbonization in Italy.
