The fund has made a binding offer to acquire a 75% stake in a 74 MW solar PV portfolio from Dominion, a global services company. This move marks a significant milestone in EGIF's commitment to supporting Italy’s energy transition and aligns with their sustainable investment strategy. The solar projects, located in Sicily and Basilicata, Italy, will be overseen by Dominion, ensuring the implementation of high ESG standards. This acquisition follows EGIF's second closing at €140 million, showcasing strong investor confidence in their renewable energy focus. EGIF aims to reach a final close of €200 million by Q4 2025.
