Equinor expands its renewable portfolio with Swedish wind farm acquisition

Equinor, a leading energy company in Europe headquartered in Norway, has acquired the 95 MW Lyngsåsa onshore wind farm situated in Alvesta, southern Sweden, from SUSI Partners. This move expands Equinor's renewable energy portfolio. The wind farm has been operational since September 2021 and includes 22 turbines, collectively producing about 300 GWh annually. CMS, with one of the world's largest energy law practices, advised Equinor on this transaction.
