Enterprise Investors, a leading private equity firm in Central and Eastern Europe, announced the final closing of Enterprise Investors Fund IX (EIF IX) at EUR 340 million. The fund successfully attracted commitments from a diversified investor base, including over 60% from commercial investors and, notably for the first time, Polish institutional and private investors. This reflects growing confidence in private equity within Poland. The remaining commitments were secured from development finance partners such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). EIF IX focuses on markets in Poland and the broader CEE region, targeting fast-growing sectors like technology, financial services, consumer products, and healthcare. Since its initial closing, EIF IX has made six investments in various companies that are now entering new markets in Europe through acquisitions.
