Enray Power Ltd, supported by Omnes Capital SAS since 2023, has announced achieving financial close for its Camblesforth Solar Farm project. This marks a key step in Enray's strategy as an independent power producer (IPP) in the UK, where the project, featuring a 68.5MWp photovoltaic system combined with a 24MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), is under construction near Selby, North Yorkshire. This installation will supply green energy to approximately 22,800 homes while offsetting 17,500 tonnes of CO2 annually. Furthermore, it guarantees a biodiversity net gain exceeding 16% to promote local habitat preservation and a community benefit fund for enhancing local amenities. Enray Power has enlisted Akereos Capital as its financial advisor, handling debt advisory, structuring services, PPA, and BESS optimization agreements. The senior debt financing was secured with Rabobank, a cooperative bank specializing in renewable energy transitions. Legal advisories were provided by UK law firm Burges Salmon LLP, whereas Aurora Energy Research offered market analytics using their Chronos platform for optimizing BESS integration.
