The purchase aims to expand Enghouse's offerings in the European market, particularly in transit fare collection and mobile ticketing. Margento, known for its scalable 'Mobility as a Service' platform, serves public transit and transportation operators. This strategic acquisition allows Enghouse to enhance its capabilities in account-based ticketing (ABT) and multimodal transportation solutions. Enghouse expects to create synergies through a combined go-to-market approach, strengthening its market position.
