Endo Appointed as Global CFO of Dentsu

Dentsu Group Inc., a prominent player in the corporate finance and advertising sector, has appointed Shigeki Endo as its Global Chief Financial Officer, effective February 15, 2025. The Tokyo-based company, well-known for its global operations, sees this leadership change as part of a broader strategy to enhance financial governance and align with the newly unveiled Mid-Term Management Plan for 2025-2027. Endo, who brings over three decades of financial expertise, including his tenure at ITOCHU Corporation, GE, British American Tobacco, and Accenture, will take over from Arinobu Soga. Soga will continue as the Global Chief Governance Officer to further bolster the company's governance framework. Endo has been working with Dentsu since July 2024 in a transitional role. His extensive experience is expected to contribute significantly to Dentsu's financial transformation and sustainable growth strategies, especially in aligning the financial strategy with business objectives. Endo's appointment is timed with Dentsu's critical phase following the launch of its new management plan aimed at enhanced corporate value.
